Qualifying Relationship Checklist
Use this checklist to determine the types of supporting evidence you can file with your petition to prove this criteria. You do not need to file all of these items with your petition to prove this criteria; one of these should be sufficient, but the more evidence you can file, the stronger your case will be.

Birth certificate of abusive adult biological child;

Your affidavits explaining the abusive relationship;

Birth certificate showing your abusive biological parent; or

Marriage certificate showing marriage between biological parent and abusive step-parent.
